Diane Becker is proud to be a Lawrence “townie,” having lived here in Lawrence her entire life. She absolutely loves the diversity, liveliness, and opportunities that Lawrence offers. Before coming to Stephens, she worked as an executive assistant in the sales and marketing department at a local fundraising organization and learned the joys and the challenges of marketing and selling yourself and your service or product. The key is to be on top of the market, be enthusiastic, and never stop learning.

Diane managed residential and commercial property for 13 years in the Lawrence area. Her favorite part of property management was building effective relationships and securing a very high retention rate. Her work ethic and honesty have always been the keys to her success. She still sees some of her past tenants around town and delights in catching up with them.

Diane has always enjoyed volunteering in the community, whether by working to raise money for children’s charities through the St. Patrick’s Day Parade events, by co-chairing Project Graduation, or by helping at St. John’s Oktoberfest each year. Diane finds joy in spending time with family and friends, but she feels the best thing she’s done over the years is being involved in her son’s activities. She fondly remembers hosting spaghetti meals for 40 swimmers and being in the stands watching every game and every swim meet. She’s loved it all!
